Here are some updates from today related to security at the All-Star game in Cincinnati next week.
From coastguardnews.com:
CINCINNATI — The Coast Guard, federal, state, and local law
enforcement agencies will begin additional maritime safety and security
operations on the Ohio River in support of the 86th Major League
Baseball All Star Game, Thursday.
Boaters can expect no wake zones, interruptions and closures to maritime traffic.
The river will be closed to commercial traffic during the game itself. There will also be closures for events at the ballpark and the fireworks display.
If you plan to have a boat on the river near downtown Cincinnati between now and then, you'd better check the no-wake restrictions and closure times.
