I went down to the river yesterday evening to see how things looked with the haze from the Canadian fires in the air. It was similar to a humid day, but the humidity itself wasn't high enough to create that much haze.
As I was getting photos, the M/V Findlay of Marathon Petroleum came up the river, so I got a sunset picture of it.
I hope I didn't do much damage to my camera's sensor. You can get photos of the sun at certain times of day, but you don't want to spend much time doing it.
