Deadheading

I have growunup stuff to do tonight, so I have time to post only one pic for now. My youngest was out on a school bus photo expedition when he called to say the Linda Reed was coming up the river with an older Crounse boat deadheading. I didn't get the picture I wanted at my first stop, but I did get another one I wanted at the second.

Normally at this spot, upbound boats pass close to the WV shore, but the Linda Reed was about to meet a downbound boat. I assume the person steering that boat wanted them to pass starboard to starboard, so the Linda Reed hung over closer to the Ohio shore than normal.
