Is that the former Donald B? I have photos of that boat that I took when it was a working sternbwheeler in the Maysville, Ky., area. In one, it's working around a sand barge and equipment for transferring sand from barge to truck. I think I took it on June 30, 1986.
Now we know how much it costs to buy an old sternwheeler. I'm not sure I want to know how much insurance, maintenance, insurance, licenses and such cost. No need to kill a fantasy right away.
I love the Ohio River. I enjoy reading about the river, smelling the river, photographing the river, listening to its sounds ... and we can share them here.

The Barbara H. is on eBay for $75,000 as well. Was listed for 10 days, no bids. Now re-listed, still no bids.
