If only ...

... I had a pleasure boat, a trailer and a truck to pull them with, I'd head down to Indiana. Because of work at the Markland Locks and Dam, there are at least 20 boats waiting in line to lock through. The list includes some that I'd love to get closeup pictures of from the river, including but not limited to (as the lawyers would say) ...

Ohio Valley, Kentucky, AEP Future, Charlie Melancon, New Dawn, Michael J Grainger, Danny L Whitford, James H Hunter ...

aw, I'd get pictures of them all.

It's a pain being cash-poor.

Maybe I'll catch the Mountain State while it's in my area.

Gas fractionation plant at Natrium, W.Va.

Development of natural gas fields in the Utica shale in Ohio and the Marcellus shale in West Virginia is leading to the construction of a new natural gas processing plant in West Virginia's Northern Panhandle. I'll have more next week, but here's my first story on it.

By the way, it looks like there may be some river traffic generated by the plant.
