Here are a few more photos of the M/V Linda Reed upbound this past weekend with the M/V Donna York deadheading.
First, a couple of shots from a bridge sidewalk. This wasn't easy, as there were cables in the way where work crews were getting ready to cocoon, clean and paint the bridge.
Gotta get a shot of the wheel wash.
And here's a guy on the Donna York.
From my shooting spot, it looked like the head of the tow was passing the Defender Chapel over in Ohio as the church bell rang. That was appropriate, as the church bell came from an old steamboat called the Defender.
